FINA World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships 2021

August 21 - 29, 2021

The FINA Bureau has approved for the FINA World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships to be combined with the FINA World Youth Artistic Swimming Championships due to the exceptional circumstances created by the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The FINA Rule ASAG 2.2 for the Junior division is amended to read  15-19 years of age for the year 2021. This has been done to not penalise athletes who would be otherwise too old to compete following the postponement of the competition, due to circumstances beyond their control.

City Info

With a cliff-top position above the St Lawrence River and captivatingly picturesque old streets, North America’s oldest French-speaking city is a gorgeous, seductive place. Dating to 1608, it has a colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets, and is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle de Québec. It is the capital city of the Canadian province of Quebec and, with a population of 800 000, is the eleventh largest city in Canada.
