FINA GENERAL CONGRESS 2017
In accordance with FINA Rule C 15.8, all Members of FINA are hereby invited to attend the FINA GENERAL CONGRESS to be held on 22 July 2017 in Budapest, Hungary.
The FINA GENERAL CONGRESS will be held at the Hotel Inter-Continental starting at 09:00 hours (time subject to reconfirmation).
In accordance with the FINA Rules (please make reference to the document below “Milestones”), the National Federations, Members of FINA, and the Continental Organisations, can proceed with the nomination of Candidates for the FINA Bureau, Committees and Panels.
The National Federations and Continental Organisations presenting candidates, should fill out the document below “Candidates Application Form” and return it to the FINA Office duly completed, signed and stamped by:
· 22nd April 2017 * for the Candidates to the FINA Bureau
and
· 22nd May 2017 * for the Candidates to the FINA Committees and Panels.
* No new application(s) will be accepted after these deadlines.

In accordance with FINA Rule C 16.2, all Members of FINA are hereby invited to attend the FINA TECHNICAL CONGRESSES to be held in Budapest, Hungary, with the following schedule:
July 12, 2017 - at 09:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Synchronised Swimming
July 12, 2017 - at 14:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Diving / High Diving
July 13, 2017 - at 10:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Open Water Swimming
July 13, 2017 - at 14:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Water Polo
July 21, 2017 - at 09:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Swimming
July 21, 2017 - at 14:00* - FINA Technical Congress - Masters

The FINA TECHNICAL CONGRESSES will be held at the Hotel Inter-Continental Conference Centre.

According to FINA Rule C 15.8 and C 16.2, invitations to the General and Technical Congresses, including the Agenda, duly submitted motions and applications, will be sent to the National Federations during the first weeks of April 2017.
12th June 2017 is the deadline for the National Federations members of FINA to advise the names of maximum of two (2) delegates for the Technical Congresses (C 16.3.1) and 22nd June 2017 the names of maximum of two (2) delegates for the General Congress (C 15.2.1.) Nomination Forms will be available shortly.
